What are you talking about? Mexico disarmed our military? When? Military cooking for and chauffering illegal aliens? What are you talking about? Border Patrol and ICE do all that.

So I gather you don't think our military can or will secure our border. Then check that option off the list. Or wait and see what they do. Either way, we'll see, won't we?

My personal opinion is when Republicans lost the US House of Representatives in 2018 Midterms, we lost it all for our cause. Military and BP and CBP and DHS are all career people who rely on budgets controlled by the US House of Representatives. They like Republicans and do what we want when we control that chamber of Congress, and they like DemoQuacks when they control that chamber of Congress. While they "report" to the President, their jobs and funding depend on who controls the US House of Representatives, which isn't Trump and isn't the Republicans any more.

I don't think a lot of people in our cause understood that crucial dynamic of our government system, much like so many didn't understand that Republicans couldn't pass a bill even though we had the majority in both chambers until 2018, we didn't have enough seats in the Senate to ever pass a bill on immigration. If you don't have the seats, you don't have the votes, if you don't have the votes, you can't do much on a lot, but you can't do anything on immigration without a majority in the House, 60 seats in the Senate, and a Republican in agreement in the White House.

Armed Mexican troops question American soldiers on US side of border

Oh, I remember that Horowitz article about that. I think that was an isolated incident. The underlying article couldn't even verify it was actually Mexican military, just dressed like they might be. Probably cartels trying to scare off or distract our people. As for the cooks in the detention centers, I guess someone has to cook for them while they're locked up. I though BP or some contractor did that, but I guess with the flood, they sent military cooks down there to do i until they can make other arrangements. If you lock someone up in our country, you have to feed them, you can't lock them up and not feed them, right?

That's why it's best not to let them in to begin with and for those who get in, ask them 2 simple questions, and if no and no then out you go immediately. So simple.

This is all the same stuff that DHS has been doing since their inception after 9/11. I was opposed to the DHS then and have been ever since. I opposed the Patriot Act and NSA Syping and a whole lot of other madness that came out of 9/11. INS did a much better job with a whole lot less money than DHS at securing our borders, so keep that in mind when you want to support a mandated E-Verify governed and 100% controlled by DHS. Things are not what they seem in that agency and have never been. It needs to be busted up and everything returned back to the way it was before 9/11 including having USCIS handle deportation hearings.

The Reagan Amnesty covered about 3 million to 4 million people over a period of years who were our country illegally, and we thought that was a crisis.

Since 9/11 and the creation of DHS and Tom Ridge, who "didn't know who they were, where they were or what they were doing", this crisis of 3 to 4 million illegal aliens in the country, has grown to 25 to 30 million.

At some point, people have to face the fact that the meme of "keeping US safe" is about to kill US.

Mexican troops disarmed American soldiers on US side of the border

Armed Mexican troops disarmed two United States soldiers while they were on the American side of the border, U.S. defense officials have said.

U.S. Northern Command said in a statement that "five to six Mexican military personnel questioned two U.S. Army soldiers who were conducting border support operations" this month.

The U.S. soldiers were in an unmarked Customs and Border Protection [CBP] vehicle near the southwest border near Clint, Texas.

Officials confirmed that the Mexican troops were armed with what seemed to be rifles. They raised their weapons when they saw the two U.S. soldiers, and then took a pistol from one and put it in the CBP vehicle. According to officials talking to CNN, the two Americans obliged "in an attempt to de-escalate a potential volatile situation."



"Throughout the incident, the U.S. soldiers followed all established procedures and protocols," the statement said. The two U.S. troops were on the south side of the security perimeter but north of the Rio Grande and thus were in the U.S., according side American territory, it added.

Pentagon and Department of Homeland Security officials demanded an explanation from the Mexican government. "An inquiry by CBP and DOD [Department of Defense] revealed that the Mexican military members believed that the US Army soldiers were south of the border," the statement said.

"Though they were south of the border fence, U.S. soldiers remained in U.S. territory, north of the actual border."
