A biometric database for uses of identifying anyone that is in the country illegally or that should not be give access to a job or public benefit will on only work if all Americans and legal immigrants are in the biometric database.
Sure, you can apply the biometric to id an illegal alien that was intercepted and then returned but other uses to determine future legal presence only works if every American is in the system.
Right now, the Real ID act is attempting to place every American and legal immigrant and illegal alien into the biometric facial recognition technology program.
That is why ALIPAC officially opposes biometric ID for Americans and opposes any new guest worker programs.
