According to news reports, President Trump will sign the atrocious border bill. It is also being reported that the President will declare a National Emergency.

The National Emergency will be challenged in court as we know. So we get a garbage funding bill with poison pill/s and long term fights in court over the president's declaration and power.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) confirmed from the Senate Floor Thursday afternoon that President Trump will be signing the new border deal and will also be issuing a national emergency at the same time.



McConnell: “I’ve just had an opportunity to speak with President Trump…he’s prepared to sign the bill. He will also be issuing a national emergency declaration at the same time.”

Key Republican Senators such as Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell have both expressed their support if President Trump were to declare a national emergency to secure border wall funding.



Congressional negotiators announced on Monday night they have a border wall funding agreement they believed President Trump would sign into law.



On Wednesday FOX News announced Democrats slipped a “poison pill” into the deal that will prevent the 55 miles of wall from being built.



Executive Director for the Center For Immigration Studies, Mark Krikorian said on Thursday that the “poison pill” in the new border deal also “gives deportation immunity to any sponsor—or POTENTIAL sponsor—of an “unaccompanied” alien child.”

This is such a terrible betrayal by Trump to agree to sign a bill he has not read that is filled full of benefits and goodies for illegal aliens.

There you have it , does this leave any doubt, whatsoever, where all but 16 of the R's in the Senate stand on the invasion of our country?

They not only approve of the invasion, but they sent expensive gifts to the invaders.

It doesn't surprise me that the House and Senate would pass legislation such as this, but I'm disgusted beyond words that President Trump would even consider signing it. He has betrayed us!
