There you have it , does this leave any doubt, whatsoever, where all but 16 of the R's in the Senate stand on the invasion of our country?

They not only approve of the invasion, but they sent expensive gifts to the invaders.

Declaring a national emergency doesn't excuse President Trump @realDonaldTrump for signing a secretive budget bill into law before the American public has had time to learn what is in this nightmare & react! Doing so is immoral + betrays the very foundation of our Republic!

He's just declaring the national emergency so he can go back to his base and tell them he did all he could (a rally talking point). However, you and I both know if he really wanted to do the right thing he would refuse to sign the bill and demand a CR so the American public will have time to dissect the bill.

Many in the House and Senate haven't even read the bill. They have been at a funeral in N.C. today! I heard Pelosi say on Fox News this afternoon that she wasn't prepared to vote until after 6:00 p.m. to give everyone a chance to return from N.C. Sen. Burr was at the funeral too. He was the last one to vote and he had just arrived back to D.C. from N.C.

Exactly! and most likely has already set into motion a legal challenge to his own declared National Emergency.

When it comes to fighting illegal immigration and desiring border security and a wall, many republicans are democrats in disguise.

Bill Barr for Attorney General vote was 54-45. The vote for amnesty for illegal aliens hidden in a spending bill was 83-16. Very telling.

Correction to above, we don't have 16, we only have 11 R's

    Of the 16 votes only 11 R's voted No---5 D's voted No

    The R's were.....

    Mike Braun---Ind.
    Tom Cotton---Ark.
    Ted Cruz----Tex.
    Josh Hawley---Mo.
    James M. Inhofe---Okla.
    Mike Lee-----Utah
    Rand Paul----Ky.
    Marco Rubio---Fla.
    Ben Sasse----Neb.
    Tim Scott----S. C.
    Patrick J. Toomey----Pa.

Have no idea why Rand voted No, as he had said earlier that trump won Big Victory with Border Wall Deal, there must have been something else he saw he didn't like.

There's no coming back from this. No "emergency" or presidential powers will allow him to build the wall, ever, after he signs this bill. Trump has just agreed to fully open borders.

8 pm EST - It is now being reported that President Trump, per Mick Mulvaney, has located approximately 8 billion dollars for border security.

So they turned over a couch cushion and found 8 billion. Odd that couch cushion couldn't have been turned over sometime in the past 2 years. Give it a day or two for the Bill to be signed and the flap die down, and it will be buried under the cushion again.

I agree. This is probably just an attempt to draw attention away from the horrible things in the DHS funding bill.
