“Any family in economic need has a right to immigrate, that’s our posture, if a family is hungry and the family needs work, then society should provide a way for people to do that, Seifert said.
This kind of thinking will lead to all kinds of interesting possibilities.

If they need money, or a car, or groceries, do they have a right to steal?

It really is time to rethink the tax exemption of churches.
It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

“Law enforcement should be left to people who are trained and experienced in these matters, the mayor said referring to immigration, “No civilians should take the law into their own hands, and it’s not the right message to send our neighbor and biggest trading partner.
I thought Canada was out biggest trading partner.

Priests in serving in Mexico make a fraction of what they do in Texas. Never the less priests ave tunure such that they are insulated from low price cross border competition. The priests who have chimed in favoring the illegal immgrants have had no consideration for the plight of poor American workers. They who have to support themselves in a higher cost structure which does not go down after employers have given illegals their jobs.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

The group from San Felipe de Jesús Church call themselves Social Justice and Peace Pastoral. “It’s a response to the Minuteman project that offers prayer and dialogue instead of fear and division,â€? said Elizabeth GarcÃÂ*a, a ribbon campaign organizer
Fear and division, where was these people at, with there ribbons. Was they here to support the children, that certain priest here abused? NO Was they here, when this Priest was just transferred to other parishes? NO I didn't see them in Boston either.

Organizing in conjunction with the Catholic church makes sense because the church’s position is pro-immigration, said Father Michael Seifert of San Felipe de Jesús
Well, I hate to be the one to bring this up, but since it has been a very big item here in Cincinnati. The Church should be concentrating on cleaning up there name.
