    ********Making E-Verify Permanent (E-Verify is presently set to expire in November, 200********
    We cannot allow that to happen!!!
    Senator Grassley (IOwa) has just introduced a bill to reauthorize E-Verify....we need to back it!!
    S. 3093 Electronic Employment Verification Reauthorization Act of 2008 (Introduced in Senate)
    http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c ... 110QYsFM7::
    U.S. Sen. Grassley (Iowa) : Works to Give Employers a Better Tool to Verify Work Eligibility of Employees
    http://www.iowapolitics.com/index.iml?Article=128035
    In the above article, summarizing the bill, it states: Gives employers the option to verify the status of all employees, not just new hires.
    Verifying the status of all employees, should not be an option, it should be mandatory. We should lobby to make verification of all employees mandatory!!
