Why not start checking to see what these smugglers own in the U.S.? Just because he's "from" Mexico doesn't mean he doesn't spend some time in the U.S. Check for bank accounts, homes, and vehicles. Then take them. And sell them. They were purchased with money from smuggling. If they live in a community property state like CA or AZ, take the wife's stuff too. The wives know where the money is coming from. Stop letting them keep the expensive goodies they buy with money they get from smuggling or bringing drugs over the border. If they have kids, "American" or not, send them packing too. Children who are raised by people with no morals usually have no morals themselves.

The man stopped at the Interstate 8 checkpoint in Pine Valley Saturday about 5:45 p.m. and agents decided to inspect his truck after observing the that driver seemed nervous, Border Patrol officials said.
How many of these trucks are waived through because the driver doesn't appear nervous? I guess the experienced, calm, and low-key drivers are worth their weight in gold (or drugs).

The Border Patrol where I live are just as busy as ever!
Yeah but I bet a double-layered fence stretched from sea to shining sea would definitely help. I've seen some of the little road barriers and single fences being built along parts of the border, and I'm not impressed. Most of the fencing is not the type of fencing that was originally called for in the Secure Fence Act (Duncan Hunter's version).

Double-layered fencing with monitors, cameras, stadium lighting, and high speed roads would have a very positive impact (IMO). The double fencing would give the BP more time to respond (catching many of the illegals between layers).

The Mexican government complained that America was breaking part of the NAFTA agreement because their trucks werent free to flow back and forth accross the border. Its isnt goods they are concerned about hauling accross the border, but its the drugs and people. The corrupt government of Mexico and the cartels are working together to smuggle drugs and people into our country using tractor-trailers. Our country needs to completely shut out Mexico by finishing the damn fence and stationing armed soldiers all along the border. Mexico is not going to clean up their country until we stop giving its people access into our country.

No one should cross the border without being check as if going on a military base.... Check, check, and then check.... entrance check, driver license check, E-Verify check, 287g Program check with every action of police, and etc....

Smuggling is getting worse Who is hiring these illegals
