CA Democrats continue to confuse ‘immigrants’ with ‘illegal immigrants’

It goes without saying that there is a divide in the country over immigration policy. But unfortunately, that isn’t the argument that many Californians, especially elected California officials, are having. Their debate seems to be centered around immigration as a whole and in doing so, they conflated immigration and illegal immigration.

To all you liberals out there failing to acknowledge a difference between legal and illegal immigration, we see what you’re doing… And we’re not buying it.

California’s attorney general, Xavier Beccera, is among seemingly countless California Democrats who consistently talks about how the Trump administration is against immigration. He uses phrases like ‘America was founded by immigrants’ or ‘immigrants built this country.’ In those statements, you’re not wrong, Xavier. But you are, however, completely lying to the Californians you swore to represent. Xavier continually tries to make the claim that the Trump administration and conservatives alike are hate-filled anti-immigration bigots. And he knows exactly what he’s doing.

See, when liberal politicians purposefully conflate ‘legal’ and ‘illegal’ immigration, they are attempting to paint the image that all immigration is the same. And when all immigration is the same, they claim that nobody, except racists, can be against it. It is a strategy used time and time again by Democrats all across the country.

But we see right through it.

So just for the record, lets set things straight. Conservatives understand the enormous benefit that legal immigrants bring to this country and for that, we are grateful. However, we also see the huge problems caused by illegal immigration. Therefore, we’d like to let all Democrats know that we see your plan and while talking about the issue, we will make sure that it is understood that there are two types of immigrants. We know it’s difficult for liberals to separate two components in an argument, but we’ll do our best to help you liberals out.
