There may well be an economic downturn for those who profited from illegal aliens, Mr. Chertoff. But while you looked the other way and didn't do your job, we have suffered lost income and the social costs of illegal aliens . . .

more crime than we've ever seen in the lower 48,

uninsured and unlicensed (BAD!) drivers who can't read "YIELD" or "ONE WAY - DO NOT ENTER,"

ESL classes and classrooms of non-English-speaking illegal alien children,

emergency rooms and labor and delivery rooms packed with no-pay illegal aliens,

welfare benefits, Medicaid, public housing, food stamps, WIC, in-state tuition and more for illegal aliens who do not contribute financially to the social safety net,

and 3 out of 10 prison cells occupied by illegal alien criminals that refused to be ignored, even by law enforcement officers ordered to stand down.

Yes, Mr. Chertoff, there will be an economic downturn for some businesses and their stockholders.
But the rest of us will survive.

YES THERE WILL BE SOME WELL DESERVED ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES FOR THOSE WHO PROFITED FROM ILLEGAL ALIENS.

BUT FOR THE AVERAGE AMERICAN THERE WILL BE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL BENEFITS GALORE.

FOR ONE THING, EMPLOYYEES WILL BE ABLE TO NEGOTIATE A DECENT WAGE.....NOW THAT THERE WONT BE HORDES OF SCAB LABOR FREELY FLOWING OVER THE BORDER.

WE WILL HAVE LESS CRIME AND OUR LIFESTYLE STANDARDS CAN START TO RISE TO WHAT THEY WERE BEFORE THE INVASION.

OH YES THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES....I CAN HARLDY WAIT!!!!

Yep! there it is. They have already started trying to manipulate the public thinking. This is what the new crackdown is about. They began it so suddenly because of the market downturns we have experienced lately. This crackdown and its "economic consequences" will be blamed for the market woes we were already experiencing because of OTHER FACTORS. But they will hijack that downturn and spin it into a "result of the crackdown."

When this goes on for awhile, and all have forgotten that the market started having problems before the crackdown, replacing that knowledge with the oft repeated lie, they expect us to all be in a panic and it will be related ONLY TO THE CRACKDOWN. There will be phoney statistics proving the lie and obliterating the truth.

That's when amnesty will be reintroduced. And they expect we'll have more of an appetitie for it then.

YES THEY WILL TRY TO BLAME IT ON THE CRACKDOWN....BUT THEY WONT GET AWAY WITH IT. WE ARE ON TO THEM.

YA RIGHT, THE DOWNTURN IS BECAUSE OF IMMIGRATION CRACKDDOWN....IT MUST BE THAT....IT CANT BE BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE CORRUPT FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS....OR THE ARRAY OF OTHER CORRUPTION IN OUR SYSTEM.

WE WILL BE READY FOR THEM ON THIS ONE. THE "SPIN" DAYS ARE OVER.

They can only spin us into submission if we allow it. We are fighting hard about this so they are fighting back. We must not let them win.
