Sessions DOJ Blocks Sanctuary Cities from Police Assistance Program

We all know how great Chicago is and how much their elected officials really care. They just want the money.

Why are US taxpayers funding any grants for state and local law enforcement to begin with? I think this whole DOJ grant program needs to be reviewed and eliminated entirely. Funding state and local police operations within the states should be state and local government's responsibility. You stop this whole flow of federal money into the states and local police operations and believe me, they'll figure out how to reduce their crimes, by reducing their illegal alien populations. Police Chiefs will be on the front lines arguing at City Council Meetings for funding of their police departments instead of food banks for illegal aliens. Same in the state legislatures.

The federal government needs to stop throwing that borrowed money around.

Judy is right. If the Federal government stopped giving police departments money, they would get serious about enforcing the law. Illegals would be arrested when they had no DL or fake DL, etc.

The people would also put some pressure on the judges, or vote them out of office for not making the right decisions regarding this stuff.

Exactly!! Put it all into ICE operations and 287 (g) programs, and you'll see crime drop like a rock.
