Dem Rep. Beyer: We Need to Make Progress on Border Before We Can Get Immigration Reform

On Friday’s broadcast of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power,” Rep. Don Beyer (D-VA) stated that while he believes we need immigration reform, in order to get there, we need to “get a sense that we’ve made progress on the border,” and “then maybe we can fix the DREAMers and all those other high-skill people that we want to let in.”

Beyer said that it would help the economy “if we can get immigration reform done…we have ten to eleven million jobs advertised that we can’t fill. We need to be bringing into this country the people who can fill those jobs and pushing up our labor force participation rate.”

He added, “I’m hearing more and more people figuring out that we have to — with all the debate over Title 42, we do have to secure that border and we need to — and deal the seven-year backlog right now on asylum cases.

That was one of the things they had in play in the Senate this last week that didn’t make it into the omnibus.

But we need more judges and we need more Customs and Border Patrol people. If we can get a sense that we’ve made progress on the border, then maybe we can fix the DREAMers and all those other high-skill people that we want to let in.”

We do NOT want or need "immigration reform". Enough of this complete BS !!!! We are sick of hearing this.

They can go "reform" their own damn countries! They should be working in their countries contributing to their country's prosperity.

We need welfare and food stamp "reform" and end breed and feed programs of millions of people romping in the sack for free money! What Gaul to make us pay for someone's offspring so they get more money! It is disgusting. I do not want to pay for this. They should be working, not boinking for money.

We need a Relocate to Work program.

Why should WE pay to relocate foreign citizens to come here to work? Why should WE pay for refugees, asylum liars, TPS, and illegal aliens? This is stupid. Relocate our own people.

Get rid of H1-B visas taking our tech jobs and put our citizens in those jobs.

Any corporation hiring H1-B visas should be hit with a 15% Privilege Tax. 15% paid by that foreign citizen with 15% employer matching, and that money goes into our Social Security and Medicare Funds. Make it so employers are PENALIZED for hiring them and the foreign citizen will not want to come here.

Get these people out of our housing and jobs and working back in their own country.

We have a duty and an obligation to help American's First!

We demand SWAMP REFORM and get the likes of this moron Rep. Beyer OUT of office and OUT of his job. See how YOU like to be displaced and have no job. We need Term Limits for these American hating corrupt rats destroying our country.

You deal with that 7-year backlog by shutting down that damn border and expelling them all.

End birthright citizenship. Cut off the funding and ORDERING them all to sell out, pack up, and get the hell out of here in 30 days or they go to jail.

We OWE them nothing, and certainly no court dates! This is absurd. They are NOT our citizens and have no rights to our benefits, courts, or tax dollars.

Immigration Reform Amnesty destroys America's borders forever if it ever passes in DC.

We are on Amnesty #8 and look what that has accomplished. Nothing but the further destruction of our communities, our jobs, our schools, and our healthcare system due to this unrelenting invasion.

This solves nothing in their countries.

Our jails and courts are overburdened with these foreign citizens and we pay the billions in costs for these criminals.

Our roads are already full of traffic, and they contribute to drunk driving murdering and mowing down our citizens. We have massive drought.

No Amnesty #8, #9, or #10. DACA needs to be ordered to go back to their countries.

They all need to be forced to self deport. No housing, no school, no healthcare, no bank accounts, no drivers' licenses!

These countries need to take down their gangs and cartel, get on birth control, and go to work cleaning up their own mess.
