In 2017, DHS officials approved 400,000 work permits for people with pending asylum claims.
It's DOJ AMNESTY. There is no other word for it under our definition of "amnesty."

There are far more phony con artist asylum seekers with work permits in this country and a bunch of rug rats tailing them around than there are DACAs, all because of bad laws to begin with, but more seriously an immigration deportation process in DOJ that is designed to deliberately fail to meet the mark by the numbers within the 45 day detention period. Then they're released and only 5% of them ever found, deported and actually removed from the country.

The process of deportation has to be moved back to DHS.

Having the US DOJ in charge of release and deportation orders is like having the ACLU in charge of Border Patrol and ICE. This has nothing to do with Jeff Sessions, it has to do with a bad process that is designed to produce the exact opposite of the results the laws were passed to achieve.

This is yet another perfect example of what happens during what I call our "Period of Ironies and Opposites."

Even Trump is calling them "opposite laws" now, because that is exactly what they are.
