How come 33% and not 100%? If it does what it's supposed to do, the number of unauthorized workers would have fallen by 100%. This tells me that it's not foolproof. The 33% who left probably did so because they were scared that it would actually work. I want to see E-Verify become mandatory for all employers, but I also want it to work. And like I said numerous times before, if you also include very heavy fines and prison time for employers who hire them, all the illegals in this country would immediately leave on their own, because they would have no other choice.
