Alexis Flores

In July 2000, the family of 5-year-old Iriana DeJesus reported her missing to the Philadelphia Police Dept. A few days later, her tiny, lifeless body was found inside a garbage bag, in the basement of an abandoned apartment building.

An autopsy showed that Iriana had been sexually assaulted and strangled to death.

In 2007, DNA evidence from the crime scene was matched to that of Alexis Flores, an illegal alien who was deported to Honduras in 2005.

Flores spent 60 days in the Maricopa County Jail following his arrest for identity theft, at which time his DNA sample was taken and entered into the Combined DNA Index System.

The Honduran national was added to the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted List on June 2, 2007, he has since moved his way up to number one.

Alexis Flores is described as being 5’4″ in height, weighing 130 to 140 pounds, with scars on his forehead and right cheek. He is now believed to be about 40-years-old.

Flores has been known to use the following aliases: Mario Flores, Mario Roberto Flores, Mario F. Roberto, Alex Contreras, Alesis Contreras.

The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Alexis Flores.
