American law enforcement officials have been told to be on the lookout for female suicide bombers who may attempt to enter the United States.The women, believed to have ties to al Qaeda may have a western appearance and passports.

One official said at least two of them are believed to be connected to al Qaeda in Yemen, and may have a non-Arab appearance and be traveling on Western passports.

Heading here? I would not be surprised to find out they are ALREADY HERE.

The problem is there have already been female suicide bombers in Iraq.

Also some terrorist in the UK escaped by wearing Burkha. We are too politically correct to demand someone with a Burkha go for secondary screening or judicious check a pregnancy. That is how al-Quaeda will strike us.

Also more important what if a bomber male or female inserts the bomb into his/her anus and detonates it with a cell phone?

Or vagina? This is a good point. Is it also possible to swallow a bomb and set it off with a detonator?

Well I am not sure if Cell phone waves can reach to the stomach. But I read somewhere that the bomb material on Mutallab was the equivalent of 2-3 packets of sugar (the kind in restaurants) -- so it is really tiny.

A woman could tape it to the underside of her breast.

I don't think these new see-through x-ray scanner can see this stuff in body orifices.

I believe the Yemeni that tried to kill the Saudi Terrorism Minister had the bomb in his anus - I think I remember reading that.

That is the real worrry - body orifics, political correctness in searching women in Burkhas and lot of other stuff.

But here is another problem - a lot of people who convert to Islam are US citizens and look at all the Islamists in the UK with UK Passports we have a visa waiver program for them. My real fear is for the on-line radicalization of a US citizen who problem can get fitted with a bomb in the UK by the terrorists over there.

Instead of searching for bombs, we need to be searcing for people who are likely to be carrying those bombs, as Israel does. But as Judy so aptly pointd out, this country is too politically correct to ever do that.

Soooo....we will continue to scrutinize Caucasian grandma and the amount of shampoo she is carrying in her luggage, while head of Homeland Security continues to claim the system works.

Yea...good point. I am wondering if bomb sniffing dogs can detect a bomb in an orifice. I am not sure they could. So if the xray devices dont work then we are really left with nothing. Scary. And you are right about USA citizens being recruited. Probably not too many of them would do that, but it only takes one. Just one, that is the problem.

I agree. Profiling is definitely in order. And then they could spot check the rest of the people, just in case. Peeps who travel regularly could be background checked so when they show up the screeners already know something about them.

Of course they are already here.... They will probably walk right across the Mexican border,and right Into a community near you.... One bomb In a Las Vegas casino would shut the economy down..... It's just a matter of time with our open borders and ports...
