Concerning Stutzman if he does not realize that lying is ingrained in his leaders by previous leaders all the way back to 1970's he is naïve and should not be trusted in Congress either! It just might be proof tat he did not get an education about recent history, either!
Lyndon B. Johnson told a big lie in 1969 when he said he wasn't going to send Americans to fight a war in Asia. Of course he turned around an sent our boys to vietnam.

You're right, Presidents have been telling us lies for decades.

Republican Rep. Marlin Stutzman says Republican leadership lied to him in order to get his support on a critical vote last night. Stutzman says GOP leaders told him the Boehner/Obama amnesty bill was “dead.” But they lied!

    Stutzman Statement on "Cromnibus"

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued this statement following his vote against H.R. 83, the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2015.

“The CROmnibus bill, over 1,600 pages long, does many things but what is most important is what it does not do. It fails to directly address President Obama’s dangerous executive action on immigration and fails to include many of the solutions that could have been passed in January with a Republican House and Senate in an open process.

“Earlier today, I supported the Rule because I was informed by Leadership that the CROmnibus was dead and a short term CR would take its place. I was very surprised and even more disappointed to see the CROmnibus back on the floor. The American people deserve better.”
Congressman Stutzman represents the 3rd Congressional District of Indiana and serves on the House Committee on Financial Services. Indiana's 3rd District contains all of Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Jay, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells, and Whitley counties, as well as parts of Blackford and Kosciusko counties.

That was a lot earlier than '69, but you are right, he did lie!
