PHOENIX -- A 20-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday to 29 years in prison for his involvement in the 2007 kidnapping for ransom of two women and two children.

Jordon Lopez-Camacho was convicted in September 2009 of four counts of kidnapping, one count of theft by extortion and one count of misconduct involving weapons.

The Phoenix police received a call in November 2007 that a woman, her two children -- 9 months old and 3 years old -- and her sister were kidnapped. The kidnappers threatened to harm the victims unless they received $900,000. The suspects and their victims were found the next day.

Lopez-Camacho's five codefendents pleaded guilty and each has been sentenced to 10 years in prison:

Bernie Orellana-Santizo, 28
Hugo Jaramillo, 20
Guillermo Perez, 43
Gonzalo Rolando Anton, 22
Miguel Santizo, 48
Lopez-Camacho, Orellana-Santizo and Perez are in the country illegally.
