Senator Harry Reid retreated today from having the Senate move quickly on immigration law changes, saying any overhaul would have to wait.

You knew it, I knew it, Grahamnesty knew it, even the Democrats knew it. Teeny problem for the Dems, though: They’ve been going around saying the opposite, which now leaves them in a predicament vis-a-vis Latino voters. Having raised expectations, how do they break the news that comprehensive immigration reform is DOA?

Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) backed away from a major push on immigration reform, conceding that the issue may be too volatile for an election year agenda already packed with ambitious legislative plans…

We're doing our very best. We're taking valuable time here in the Senate to protect the people that don't have lobbyists back here to lobby for them.

In other words.... the average American citizen who has no one typically looking out for them! They're not members of some protected class, whining about perceived grievances everyday, with boat loads of cash on hand to make their case to scum bags like reid; who's all too willing to listen!

The question for Mr. Reid now is whether in trying to rally Latino supporters back home, he will face a backlash for raising expectations.

Most of those so called latino supporters back home cannot vote(legally anyway)! They are irrelevant!

Reid told a group of latinos in nevada that immigration reform was the first thing they would do when they got back.
yet we see this story that its not even being considered.

Hmmm who and what to believe.

Could it be Reid lied to the latinos because he knew he is going to need their votes come November??? and by lying to them, they will then support and vote for him?
