Vitters is saying that it is no coincidence that no Vitter, DeMint, Sessions, Dole, etc. amendments are in this final package. I believe he's implying that the only amendments approved for consideration are from those who Reid and the so-called Grand-Bargainers think they can possibly sway to vote for the final bill. In other words, why waist considering an amendment from someone who is going to vote against the overall bill in the first place.

Why does Sen. Kennedy keep interjecting his thoughts when his coherts in crime are speaking? Doesn't he trust them to make their own points without his help? Kennedy is a pompous jerk! They've attempted to shut the Republican opponents up, however, Kennedy gets to speak whenever he wants to open his fat mouth.
