    AUSTIN, Texas -- As Washington refuses to agree on a federal immigration policy, violent illegal immigrants from around the world are committing crimes in Texas. They are putting a strain on both the criminal justice system and the state budget.

    Yes the high cost of illegal immigration in Texas. So far it has bankrupted the State government, bankrupted our public schools, bankrupted City governments to the point we have laid off over 100 thousand teachers, as well as laid off firemen and policemen. Still we ignore the problem and have done nothing to solve it.
