The phrase "unemployed teacher" sums it up. There is only so much economic advantage you can get out of SERVICE INDUSTRIES. There is definitely plenty of human capital and, I have no doubt, access to raw materials, to create plenty of economic opportunity there.

Warmer countries have much better agricultural conditions than the northern climates. How about some community gardens---which could grow food year around there, instead of just a third of the year, like here? And then these countries have lots of experience in durable building materials. I just saw some historic photos last week about my own city----where a lot of the early wood structures had become severely deteriorated after a few decades. When they put Interstate 5 through they tore down a lot of these places---and they were firetraps and rodent traps and cockroach traps due to the molding wood structures and were ready to come down anyway. Latin America, OTOH, has specialized in concrete construction for many decades, plus they know how to make other, long lasting masonry products.

Maybe this teacher is the product of some do-gooder foreign mission that thought they would improve the people through knowledge alone.

I looked this up a few years ago, Honduras has a moderate to low unemployment rate.

Unemployment Rate in Honduras decreased to 6.70 percent in 2017 from 7.40 percent in 2016. Unemployment Rate in Honduras averaged 5.09 percent from 1974 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 12.10 percent in 1986 and a record low of 3 percent in 2008.

If she's actually an unemployed teacher, she was probably fired or quit for some reason. You can't trust anything a conspiring illegal alien says. What type of teacher drags her little children on a "march" for thousands of miles to the United States? No educated responsible decent person would do that. They just wouldn't. That would be like an American walking her 9 and 2 year olds from New York to California. It's child abuse and child endangerment. Would you want a maniac like that teaching your children? HELL NO.

MEXICO CITY — A caravan of more than 1,000 Hondurans is winding its way toward their country’s border with Guatemala, with the goal of reaching a better life in the United States.

Dunia Montoya, a volunteer helping the migrants, said the group planned to sleep Saturday inside an auditorium in Santa Rosa de Copan, a town several hours east by car from Guatemala.

The migration began swelling spontaneously Friday after local media reported on approximately 160 migrants who had agreed to depart together for greater safety from San Pedro Sula. The aspiring migrants organized via WhatsApp chats.

“People leave Honduras every day, but this is the first time (they do it) in a public way and in a group,” Montoya said in a telephone interview from Santa Rosa de Copan.

Other Hondurans who had been thinking of leaving the country saw an opportunity to go with a support network. They stuffed backpacks with essentials and rushed to join the caravan.

People lent vans and trucks to help the group, whose initial members had started out on foot. Hondurans offered bottles of water or food along the way.

These countries want our aid and trade and even though we're cutting the aid and putting conditions on the aid, which should help some, it needs to be a combination of both aid and trade like Judy's Plan B. These countries are just buying time hoping the DemoQuacks take over Congress or Trump gets the boot. Don't play their delay game, force the issue now or at least very soon after the mid-terms, which Republicans MUST WIN!!

Nope, we've got enough problems with illegal aliens and asylum claimants without begging for more. Your plan will only bring us more of what we don't want! Make conditions more miserable where they're at and more of them will pack their bags and head here.

I'm shocked that you support giving aid and trade to countries violating US immigration law.

Get our authorities down there NOW and head them off before they get to Mexico!

Have buses available to send them back from where they currently are!

Have buses standing by that say "Los Estados Unidos"...they will run to the buses.

Load them up and then drive them back home

Just don't let them in. If they do down the way and break in or sneak in, turn the minors over to the Consulates and throw the lawbreakers behind bars. Pass a minimum bond of $100,000 cash due to the risk of "flight". Or put them in solitary confinement like they did Paul Manafort.
