ID theft is illegal in the United States, a felony, punishable with jail time and restitution, so any benefit you secure through ID Theft is a crime, not an entitlement. Enforce the laws already on the books. Or for added protection against illegal aliens practicing ID Theft, pass Barletta's bill. But keep in mind, ID Theft is practiced by citizens, legal immigrants as well as illegal aliens. So this problem of ID Theft is not just limited to illegal immigration nor illegal aliens. Several years ago, the cost to Americans for ID Theft just on credit cards and bank accounts was $48 billion a year so I'm sure it's much higher now. It's a huge problem for our country and is not limited to health insurance fraud.

There you go with the Barletta bill thing again. The Barletta bill has not passed yet and there is no guarantee it will. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

Your massage of words still doesn't do a thing to end the illegal aliens ability to get healthcare under the Trump/Ryan plan.

And none of yours have solved one problem yet, so on we go with the same o, same o, nothing because even those who agree of an outcome can't agree on how to get there. It's the great tragedy of our country.

President Donald Trump failed to reach a deal with members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus to amend the Republican Obamacare replacement bill ahead of an expected vote later Thursday.


Many lawmakers from the three-dozen-member caucus huddled at the White House with Trump and his senior leadership team, but they emerged without guaranteeing their support for the GOP bill. With little margin for defections and eroding support from moderates, House leaders need most Freedom Caucus members to support the bill.

Prospects dim for vote on GOP health bill in House

We'll just have to wait and see. We've got some really smart people working on this vote so I'm very optimistic a bill will pass the House and move on to the Senate, hopefully tonight. Businesses and individuals are anxiously waiting for this to get done. I hope they're not disappointed.

GOP House leaders delayed their planned vote Thursday on a long-promised bill to repeal and replace "Obamacare," in a stinging setback for House Speaker Paul Ryan and President Donald Trump in their first major legislative test.

They're still negotiating. There are still differences that have to be worked out. That's what Mark Meadows is saying now. Stock market dropped like rock. Oh well. Maybe they can get it figured out tomorrow.

The Republican legislation would halt Obama's tax penalties against people who don't buy coverage and cut the federal-state Medicaid program for low earners, which the Obama statute had expanded. It would provide tax credits to help people pay medical bills, though generally skimpier than Obama's statute provides. It also would allow insurers to charge older Americans more and repeal tax boosts the law imposed on high-income people and health industry companies.
