No its not your imagination. We see more articles about this lately. Two years ago you wouldn't have seen it. This has all escalated since the marches and American citizens speaking out. We may feel at times like we're at a stalemate, but when you look at the over all picture, the over all advances we've made to get it in the public eye and keep it there, it is HUGE.
More citizens feel they have the right not to be political correct and call things as they really are.

The lawsuit against SK using the RICO act is really encouraging. The lawsuit brought against the company by an employee is encouraging. We need more and more and more of these lawsuits. Let's hurt these businesses that use illegals and see how much the "cheap labor" really helps them. Double edge sword as I see it.

On another note right after the news said they caught one of these criminals, U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee - 18th District of Texas, was on TV asking for CIR and stating she will be asking BUSH to stop the raids.

It amazes me how she people she represents in her district (mainly African American) can keep her in office.

its because that district is black and they dont know better.
no one keeps them informed yet it seems they are the ones being killed off

Reward put at $10,000 in fatal stabbing of a mother
Victim lost her life protecting child

The reward has been doubled to $10,000 for help in catching a man charged with fatally stabbing a mother as she tried to prevent the theft of her car while her baby was in it.

Crime Stoppers officials said the agency and private sources are boosting the reward in an effort to apprehend Timoteo Rios, 23, an illegal immigrant from Michoacan, Mexico. He is charged with capital murder in the death of Tina Davila, who was attacked outside a store at 5619 Uvalde on April 16.

Authorities believe Rios may have fled to Mexico but say he was known to frequent southwest Houston and may still be in the area.

Rios and Kennedy Escoto, 17, are accused of committing several carjackings. Unlike the other victims, however, Davila refused to give up the keys to her sport utility vehicle because her 4-month-old daughter was inside.

Escoto, who Harris County sheriff's investigators say was driving the getaway car, is charged with aggravated robbery. He remains in the County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.

Surveillance video from the cell phone store where the attack occurred shows a man in a stolen Ford Taurus pulling up beside Davila almost immediately after she parked her white Chrysler Aspen.

Rios and Escoto were identified by someone who saw the video and contacted authorities.

Both men have criminal histories. Escoto was arrested in September for trespassing and served 75 days in jail, according to records.

Rios was charged with possession of marijuana in May 2007 and served 10 days in jail. He was charged in June 2007 with criminal mischief and failure to identify himself to police and served 30 days in jail.
