I know. I've often wondered HOW they can do that anyway. That's sure something else that needs to be investigated for several reasons. First, it's almost like SLAVERY because, once these YOUNG ladies get here, if they find that the men who bought them are PERVERTS, what can they do? They sure wouldn't have money to go BACK. I bet that happens a lot more than we know.

Those types of scenraios alone tell me that perhaps US visas, as they apply to foreign wives ought to be more restrictive. And part of the restrictions ought to be that they can't jump up and bring their whole family from their old country along with them over the course of time.

If I am not mistaken, the only relatives that can be sponsored for family reunification immigration are parents, siblings, and children.

There’s an ethnic aspect to family reunification immigration.

    Fictional story about two Mary’s:

Let’s say that Mario, an Italian immigrant, came legally to the United States in 1900 and remained in the United States for the rest of his life. His first child was born in 1910, his first grandchild was born in 1940, and his first great-grandchild named Mary was born in 1970. Both of Mary’s parents and all four of Mary’s grandparents were born in the United States.

A US serviceman married a foreigner named Mary who was born in 1970. This Mary has several siblings. The serviceman and his wife move to the US. After several years Mary becomes a US citizen. She later begins the process to bring her parents and siblings to the US. Eventually both her parents and all of her siblings will receive permission to settle in America.

The American-born Mary cannot sponsor any relative for family reunification immigration because all of the relatives whom she could possibly sponsor (if they were foreigners) are already American citizens.

It is probably true that most white and black Americans cannot sponsor a relative for family reunification immigration because most white and black Americans probably do not have foreign relatives who would be eligible for family reunification immigration.

A much higher percentage of Hispanic and Asian Americans are likely able to sponsor foreign relatives for family reunification immigration because they are probably more likely to have relatives who are eligible for family reunification immigration than white or black Americans.

    NO MORE FAMILY UNIFICATION.

They make a choice for themselves to come here. If they are allowed legally to enter because we need them or want them, fine. Citizenship is personal to the United States, not to your family of the country you left behind. Eventually over time, you will have new generations of family here, just like the immigrants before you. If you want to be with your whole family every day, you need to stay in your country of origin.

They can visit. Afterall, if they are in Mexico, they are literally just "steps" away. If they are in South America or Central America, they are a long drive away. If they are in Asia, they are a plane ride away.

This might also discourage all this unnecessary immigration and all these people coming here that we can not support as a nation.

That is the whole issue...the number of people this economy can sustain at our standard of living. We can't mantain it any more. The numbers are overwelming and exceeding our capacity of sustainable life in the United States that is successful by our standards.

And, that is EXACTLY why we need to have a complete moratorium on ANY immigration for a couple of years anyway. We need to get rid of the ones who are here illegally and get the situation back to a sustainable level before we bring in ANY more immigrants.
