I do believe Rome was founded around 650 BC.

    geography and history

"They are a relatively modern phenomenon" and that nations such as Italy and Israel did not exist 60 years ago and 150, respectively, said Mujica. "

Hold the phone---those poor GIs in WW2 must have invaded the wrong country. Here all the while I thought monte Cassino was in Italy. Ahh, how dumb of me.

"The modern state of Israel has its roots in the Land of Israel, a concept central to Judaism for over three thousand years."

In 1000BC they used to manufacture the minicars---Chanukahs there. That is why the Romans invaded them. Gas was 12 pieces of silver per gallon.

    What a maroon!!!

Here is a press release they posted early this morning about today’s Mayday march. It is from this idiot Jorge Mujica's group Movimiento 10 de Marzo (Movement on March 10). If you notice the theme of this years march dose not have immigration as their main goal. Rather it’s a Socialists Workers Party union organizers march they buried within this so-called immigration protest. There are almost 6 different Chicago based Socialist or Communists groups present in this years march. Also, notice the amount of anti-American speech.

Remember this idiots name and that of his group, Movimiento 10 de Marzo (Movement on March 10), also call M10. We already have an MS13, now we have a M10 as well, he is turning out to be a key figure here in Chicago. This guy is dangers! I’ll have more to say about him later, I am currently doing research this idiot!

May Day Marchers Demand Rights for Immigrants, Workers

Coalition calls for sweeping progressive political platform that would end U.S. wars of aggression, reinstate workers’ rights, provide for amnesty for the undocumented.

CHICAGO, May 1 – Movimiento 10 de Marzo/the March 10 Movement, one of the principle coalitions organizing for today’s May Day march for immigrants and workers in Chicago, issued a series of calls from its members today urging the embrace of a progressive political platform that connects the dots among parallel issues and renews the movement for immigrant and workers rights throughout the nation. The coalition is comprised of dozens of local activist groups, non-profit organizations, unions and progressive advocacy projects.

Movimiento 10 de Marzo is demanding legalization for all; an end to raids, deportations, and the criminalization of immigrants; equal access to education and universal health care for all Americans, including the undocumented; equal rights for all workers; an end to the occupation of Iraq; the right to unionize for all workers; and fair wages for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity or documentation status.

Coalition members argue that just as immigrants are part of the working class of this country, their struggle is embedded with the struggle for justice and economic fairness for the rest of the workers of this country. The coalition organized under the notion that workers’ rights for all, with its corollary of equal rights for immigrant workers, is a necessary component in the effort to unite and raise living and working conditions for all workers.

That basic platform includes the battle for the right to unionize, a core right that has been under attack for decades and currently embraces only 13 % of the U.S. workforce. Coalition members support the Employee Free Choice Act, which would give to all workers a free and fair choice to improve their lives by forming unions.

Movimiento 10 de Marzo’s platform also calls for an end to the occupation of Iraq, which members link with dire effects over the long term on immigrant youth and families.

The coalition is also committed to reclaiming May Day as a day to honor and celebrate workers across the planet – and as an opportunity to unify the struggle for workers’ rights, and to recover, reconstruct and revitalize the labor movement.

This year’s platform was built on the reality that the U.S. economy is in crisis, plagued by stagnant wages, a broken health care system, a home foreclosure and housing crisis, a disastrously flawed U.S. trade policy and a hostile climate for workers – with immigrants more than ever scapegoated and subject to discrimination in the wake of this economic crisis. Groups also united around the understanding that both the Republican and Democratic Parties have failed to offer viable immigration policy, have joined in criminalizing the immigrant community, and pandered to a politically reactionary minority instead of addressing the root dynamic of migration and economic disenfranchisement. That includes an analysis that asserts that all three main candidates for the U.S. presidency – Clinton, Obama and McCain – have failed to adequately address issues related to either immigrant workers or broader issues of equity, fairness and core rights for workers throughout the nation.
