According to a USA Today report, a Dominican Republic man has been deported "at least four times since 2000" from Delaware, proving he doesn't care that he is in the United States illegally.

Richard Diaz-Garcia's latest run-in with the law happened in February, when he was arrested possessing a a large amount of cash. FBI documents revealed that the man was carrying a black bag containing $5,000 and with $393 in his pockets. Diaz-Garcia has been transferred to federal custody through the Dover office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. There are no details mentioned as to what is happening in the current case.

This all started back in 1999, when Diaz-Garcia was arrested on cocaine-related drug charges and resisting arrest, according to the report. By 2000, he was deported back to the Dominican Republic.

By 2002, the man was back and picked up in New Castle County, detained, and charged with resisting arrest once again. He was sent to Louisiana and the deported out of the country. Then there were two more times between 2004 and 2008 when Diaz-Garcia made his way back to Delaware, only to be deported again and again.

He was sentenced to six months and pleaded guilty to reentering after deportation as an aggravated felon, the report states. But reformed he was not, and he was back in Delaware less than a year later, picked up for shoplifting cologne from Sears. And, yes, deported once again.

According to the illegal alien, he kept returning to Delaware because of a girlfriend. His lawyers indicate they may now be married and note that the couple has two children living in Delaware.

In one of his 2008 attempts to enter the U.S., Diaz-Garcia was caught trying to stowaway inside a vessel docked in New Jersey.
