So it is known that the illegals and their supporters care nothing about small business in the US if it is owned by a citizen. They themselves are allowed leniency when they start businesses - the same leniency is not allowed to citizens. For example, they are allowed to have handpainted signage but a citizen is forced to pay thousands of dollars for a plastic sign that meets code. So they appear to have a goal of knocking out small businesses with lawsuits because they believe that it is making opportunity for one of their own.

So it is win win win for them.

I also do not think we need to be fair in giving them monies to go home with the lawsuit - that will encourage more suits. Besides, our government is planning on sending more of our tax dollars there to help them create jobs so they will go back.
That is the whole idea, to put the employers of illegals OUT OF BUSINESS. That will scare other employers who hire illegals and they will stop doing it. And yes, letting the illegals get money will encourage more law suits against employers who hire illegals. THAT IS THE WHOLE IDEA. We can use illegals to put their employers out of business. It wont be long before employers wont hire illegals.

So in the end it will not encourage more illegal entry because NO ONE WILL HIRE THEM. Our government should not be using taxpayer money to create jobs in another country. The money can come from the employers if illegals sue their employers and part of the money goes to a fund and the illegal then can use the money they get to start a business in their home country AND HIRE PEOPLE THERE...that will create jobs there. AND IT WILL BE PAID FOR BY THE EMPLOYERS WHO HIRE ILLEGALS. AND IT WILL DISCOURAGE ILLEGAL ENTRY BECAUSE BUSINESSES WONT HIRE THEM. No jobs, no illegals.

Also, this guy admits in court he is illegal - so send him back with his pregnant wife pronto before she downloads.

redpony, you may be absolutely right. I however, think that we need to redirect small businesses to the correct action. Small business have been edged out of business and are continuing to be and they are the most common targets. See we have this other battle with huge corporations. We need to support small family owned businesses as part of keeping the American Dream alive. So perhaps there could be a scale of punishment meeting both of our ideas because the large corporations are encroaching on the rights of all humans, not just illegals. I try to remember to evaluate if the ends justifies the means. We want good economic lives for citizens first, not corporations first and not illegals first. Because the corporations and illegals do not give back. Citizens do. Small businesses do and they just need to be encouraged to hire citizens, not illegals. Just enough penalty to make them do the right thing.

We need to support small businesses WHO SUPPORT THE AMERICAN DREAM. If they are hiring illegals then they are not doing so. The law suits would only affect small businesses who hire illegals. Are you saying you want anti-American small businesses to continue to stay in business? I, for one, do not. I want them to go out of business. Let the other small businesses get the customers they leave behind, thereby making honest small business owners stronger.

Ditto RP! Businesses who hire illegal invaders should be OUT of business, as by doing so, they are NOT supporting the American Dream!

How is a small business promoting the American Dream by hiring illegal invaders! I hope they get the $#%^ sued out of them by their cheap, illegal invader labor and that it drives them out of business!

They may just come to the rightful conclusion there is nothing cheap about illegal invader labor and they would have been better off hiring American citizens to begin with!

I agree. The illegals should not get money to be rewarded. All of the large and small businesses that hire them should pay enough that they learn to hire true American citizens, and the money should go to the victims of the illegal aliens crimes.
No Amnesty! An average of 25 Americans are killed every day by illegal alien criminals that have no right to be here.
