    And guaranteed probably half of these items end up being shipped to countries like Guatemala, Honduras, etc., leaving American citizens in need without.
    Exactly. Some town here has a "sister city" in Mexico......they can afford school supplies, but they take the free ones and then either give them to their kids and use the money to send to Mexico, or send the free school supplies there and buy their own. Either way......it's not going to citizens who need them. I mean right down to food pantry items for our poor, they take and then it gets sent to Mexico one way or another.
