I know how it is to live in a blue state. I've gone to a lot of public hearings about different matters. They just basically tune you out, unless you are part of their constituency. You can present the most intelligent argument and they will disregard it. But some lamebrain "minority advocate" or college professor or union official gets up there, and they are all ears.
