What is NOT told in this, and the thousands of other immigrant farm worker stories like it over the past fifty years, and in all fifty states is WHY these workers KEEP COMING BACK, and those employing them continually break immigration laws in using them to plant, upkeep, and harvest their crops.

The workers keep coming back because even being paid under the table at minimum, or less than minimum wages, and with zero overtime, they STILL MAKE MORE MONEY in the United States than they ever will back in Mexico, and the working conditions are still better here than they are down there (sleeping 3 to a bedroom here and living ten in just one or two rooms in Mexico).

The employers perpetually complain they can't afford to hire American workers because they are too lazy and refuse to work for the same wages Mexican workers do. Actually, this is true, but that American work ethic of being lazy (and they are) is a direct evolution of many factors in the breakdown of American work, religious, and social ethics over the past thirty years.

Manual labor is no longer seen as an honorable profession among American workers, and Americans look down and are socially condescending towards other Americans who 'demean' themselves by actually getting out and doing manual labor to earn a living.

Farm labor is very hard work, and very hard work is a foreign concept to most American workers, and especially the majority of young American youth who not only refuse to do manual labor, but have been taught that it is a sign of failure and only stupid and underprivileged people have to stoop so low as to perform manual labor.

Going back to the 'poor employer' who is barely scrimping by and without manual labor from Mexico would go bankrupt within 72 hours, that is, and has always been a damn lie. And one which is sold to the American public not just by the many agri associations across the country, but also through their (highly) paid lobbyists at every capitol in every state, and then again in Washington through the Senate and Congress.

The 'poor, abused' Mexican workers and the 'just barely making it' livestock and farm produce industries want us to believe the situation is a 'lose-lose' for all Americans if the 'immigration reform' measures (amnesty) they are trying to ram through (an increasingly giveaway, throwaway, bought-out) congress and senate.

And it is much larger than just giving amnesty to the large populations of farm, construction, auto mechanics and body shop, and all other sector of blue collar illegal aliens so that they can stay and work here in 'safe and equal' working environments with the same pay scales all other American citizens enjoy.

The real agenda here is to level the economic and social playing fields for tens of millions of Mexican illegal aliens, give them ALL equal working and social rights now reserved only for American citizens, and then REDUCE the American standards of living to the same standards of living found in Mexico - e.g., destroying the American Middle Class and creating only two social classes: The Very Rich and The Very Poor.

History will repeat itself in the USA if Americans delude themselves and allow it to happen, and at the total demise of the American way of life, along with all of the benefits therein.
