WASHINGTON—The leader of a coalition of grass-roots groups says the organizations are launching a campaign of nonviolent civil disobedience to force political leaders to reform immigration laws.

The protests are in response to Arizona's new immigration law and the failure of Congress to address immigration reform.

The group says plans are in the works to block buses coming in and out of immigration detention centers; stage sit-ins at congressional members' offices; demonstrate at federal buildings and carry out events targeted at corporations doing business in Arizona. ... ck_check=1

    immigration reformers?

Why call them immigration reformers. They are trying to interfere with enforcement of democratically enacted law. If they were reformers they'd work through the democratic system. Call them what they are, anti-democracy activists! They want to substitute their will for that of the duly elected representatives.[/b]
