I wonder why as a 4th Generation Hispanic American....which just means AMERICAN....he thought there was a need for Hispanic News in America?

Could it be that his audience is not Hispanic Americans but Illegal Hispanics and that he has built an Enterprise about News based upon Illegal Immigration? And IF we stop Illegal Immigration, then he won't have any readers of his website and other communication mediums?

Could it be that the "growth" in El Paso and others areas where has has "roamed" with his real estate developments was based upon Illegal Population Growth? And IF we stop illegal immigration then he can't continue to profit from Illegal Immigration?

One could legitimately level such a critique at a nation whereby no interaction with outside influences or other nations occurs. Or, it could also be based where there is some underlying ethnic or racial hatred against people unlike those within a country (eg. some uniformity within the country in question is assumed). To my mind, North Korea is an excellent example of a truly xenophobic nation.

The United States:

1). HAS one of, probably the MOST, generous [LEGAL] immigration policy of any in the world. (eg. we invite 'foreigners' in on a regular and large-scale basis)

2). HAS numerous trade agreements, treaties, highly integrated and well-known networks of transportation, communications, education, etc. - with many nations from all parts of the world.

3). IS a multi-ethnic, multi-racial society - being the new home to people from just about every country in the world.... having many different ethnicities, religions, backgrounds, education level, etc.

4). IF we are so intolerant and fearful of outsiders, how have 12-15 million people from 'outside' managed to live here for so very long???

'Xenophobia' as the open-borders supporters claim, might be a legitimate claim in the absence of an outside threat, but when millions of persons have 'squatted' in your country - some by border intrusion, others by visa entry/exit abuse - and without knowing much, if anything about these millions... well, how do you know a threat doesn't exist?
What is described here is not xenophobia - it is prudence.

Garrido sounds like a fascist to me. He is telling people to ignore a
law if they find it inhumane. He is saying that laws should not be
enforced if they damage 'the race'. He is advocating some kind
of economic lebensraum for the US illegal community.
