Alot of people want the American dream, but some know that they can't afford it, therefore they wait until they can or they keep dreaming....The people that went headon into knowing that they could not afford it deserve what they are getting and calling people names is not going to change that fact!

So let's recap:

Once again if you are a hard working, middle class American citizen who plays by the rules- we get slammed again. We pay for everything to begin with and now we have to pay for this.

If you are illegal, took on a mortgage that you shouldn't have or a big greedy mortgage company-you win!

First off I dont do drugs and second,if you think illigals havnt bought homes your a fool.Many of these sub prime loans were loaned with no SS# needed and no kmoney down.I no this because Ive recently been dealing with a realtor about renting a home while mine is fixed.She told me that the majority of these loans were provided a person with no credit or credit history or doc proving citizen ship.They were given loans because the gov backed them up.Im sure there are people on this site that have more info than me.I think you have no clue.If you are here to truly help stop the invasion then I welcome you here,if you are here to insult me or anybody else then as far as Im concerned go away.

Lets see some banks that give credit to illegals. Bank of America! Read the boards more before you make such claims! There are banks in this country that allow the matricula card for ID and give back accounts and credit cards to with out showing any SSI#s, residency, or income! Americans have to build there credit for years before they can touch even a car loan alone! Illegals march in and given credit cards and home loans like its nothing!

Agreed-my husband and I are 38. We just bought our first home- a small 2 bedroom condo which we close on in October. We have been married 13 years and made sure we were in a financial position to buy.

When we applied for a mortgage-they were willing to give us twice the amount we wanted for our condo. Sure I would love to have a big fancy house. There is no way we could afford two times the mortgage-but they were willing to give it to us. Just because they qualify you for an amount does not mean you have to buy something that expensive. It seems there is no personal responsibility. People are free to buy whatever they want if they can afford it. But don't expect me to bail you out because a smaller home or living in an apartment for a few more years wasn't good enough for you.

Another problem with america, you need to pick your battles carefully, you my friend have no Idea of what it is you are talking about its obvious in your reply, for example head on knowingly, people who purchased there home with a 2 year subprime loan thinking in 2 years I can refinance and get a better loan once I prove to the bank I can pay, good idea except for the fact that no factered in all of the speculators who were running around purchasing properties back to back before the first property even hit their crdit report thinking I will sell it and make a profit because the market is really good, builders keep building because speculators are snatching everything up, flooding the market with excess Stock, value's start to drop because of the overstock, interest rate start to rise on subprime loans but you cant refi or sell because theres to much stock so builders need to drop prices to move excess inventory, driving the value of your home lower and lower everyday, greedy loan comanies raising interests outragelesly + No refinance + No sell = Foreclosure, get it right, I wont call you any names this time for I belive that your reply states your mental capabilities. REMEMBER BASIC EDUCATIONS ARE FREE IN THIS COUNTRY, GO GET ONE!
