Will float this one, one more time. Anyone have any tips on sites or historical collections that might help find the last two letters of the Centinel Letters?

have you tried the Invisible, or Deep Web http://websearch.about.com/od/invisible ... le_web.htm

    Deep Web
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Deep Web (also called Deepnet, the invisible Web, dark Web or the hidden Web) refers to World Wide Web content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexed by standard search engines.

Mike Bergman, credited with coining the phrase,[1] has said that searching on the Internet today can be compared to dragging a net across the surface of the ocean; a great deal may be caught in the net, but there is a wealth of information that is deep and therefore missed. Most of the Web's information is buried far down on dynamically generated sites, and standard search engines do not find it. Traditional search engines cannot "see" or retrieve content in the deep Web – those pages do not exist until they are created dynamically as the result of a specific search. The deep Web is several orders of magnitude larger than the surface Web.[2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_magnitude

Have you tried the Library of Congress? You might contact the reference librarian on line for collections within LOC or they may direct you to other histoirical collections. Good luck Also perhaps the historical society in Philly for info on Samuel Bryan.

Thank You Airborn. Will try that when I get back in. Much appreciated.

Also a big Thanks to working4change. That is something that I would like to put on the todo list; to travel back to the northeast and hunt through the old book shops and check out the old collections in the older libraries.

For anyone who would like a insightfull look at the thoughts of the colonials, a perspective much different than the current understanding, (JMO) I would highly recommend this book.

The Centinel, Warnings of a Revolution, by Elizabeth I. Nybakken

Freedom of religion, from the colonial point of view, or the European view of the past is not what we have been taught.

Freedom of religion was not fully understood in Europe til the Protestant Reformation. After that event and much debate and time had past, did a more thorough understanding emerge and wash the thoughts of many men. Freedom and liberty were directly linked to the aftermath and consequences of the Reformation. Freedom of religion led to other freedoms and liberties, or a stronger understanding of personal freedoms.

The Pilgrams did not leave England because they were adventurers, or thought that there were shopping malls, farms, towns and villages awaiting them in this land we call America. They put everything on the line to live their faith, to escape persecution in the old country. Many other religions would follow for the same reason, freedom of religion. Religions to the colonists and the Europeans of the time were the many denominations that sprung up after the Reformation. Other faiths were not of concern.

What does freedom of religion mean from other perspectives?

From the perspective of the colonists, decendents of the original religious defectors of England and other parts of Europe?

What does freedom of religion mean to the internationalists? To the progressive who can always be counted on to lead the debate in an honest direction?

Should we seek original intent? Original thoughts on the subject?

From the European perspective, freedom of religion meant freedom of conscience, freedom from the Papal influences, a most direct link, freedom to read for oneself. Freedom of religion after the Reformation meant one did not have to belong to the Catholic Church or any other church, it was a freedom to belong to any denomination of the Christian Church.

Freedom of religion to the colonists was the same only amplified due to the fact that after the Reformation England established the Church of England and fell to the same trappings of the Catholic Church, mandatory attendance and persecutions of those who did not comply. Therefor the colonists and their fathers that left the old country had a very real understanding, from a Christian and thus European view of just what freedom of religion meant. Ask an Irishman what freedom of religion means to him or her.

Freedom of religion, like "separation of Church and State", or the 14th Amendment, or the 2nd, and many other instances of words and phrases having been hijacked and spun into new and improved meanings, according to the intellectual progressive, to the enemies of freedom, morphs and becomes a tool that can be used against Americans to their peril. Freedom of religion when viewed from the internationalists, or the NWO crowd, to the tyrant, to the citizen of the world, to the warm and fuzzy crowd, means it can be used as a tool to divide and conquere.

With the ongoing assualt against the Church from the progressive crowd, do you believe them when they espouse freedom of religion?

"Nothing has occasioned greater Mistakes, nor given Room for warmer Debates, than the varying and unsettled meaning of Names and Terms. A Word, which in one Age, has served to convey a particular Idea, at some succeeding Period, has been understood in a very different Sense; and controversial Writers have seldom been so candid as to state the Difference: More eager for Victory, than Truth, they have often disingenuously layed hold of such opportunity, to carry their Point with the ignorant and the prejudiced; whilst every Thing has made against them, except the Construction and Sound of the Sylables."

I agree................as long as he can keep our mind on one problem..........we don't see what he is really up to. He is the classic defination of "manipulator"..................

Some people say he doen't know what he is doing............I disagree!! He knows exactly what he is doing. He takes his orders from someone other than the American people.

He has a plan and NO ONE is going to get in his way. He is not for the blacks or mexicans......he is only using them to serve himself. And that is so sad.

How can a man admire a group of people who stone, rape and murder their own women?

As christians, we need to continue to pray for this man and to pray for our country!!! Contrary to what Obama believes, God is more prowerful than he is and God is in control!!!
