Jesse Jackson forming group to help blacks, Hispanics

On the heels of a meeting with Mexican President Vicente Fox over his comments about American blacks, the Reverend Jesse Jackson announced he is forming a group that will address issues affecting blacks and Hispanics.

Speaking yesterday at the Martin Luther King Junior National Historic Site in Atlanta, Jackson said its important that Fox's comments not become something that divides the two communities.

Fox angered many black leaders with his comments about blacks during a speech about U.S. immigration last week when he said Mexicans come to America and take jobs -- quote -- "not even blacks want to do there."

Jackson, along with Ann Marie Tallman of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, said they were forming a human rights council that would focus on issues such as fair immigration policies, voting rights and a balanced trade policy.

Jackson says blacks and Mexicans are both victims of U.S. policies that allow illegal immigrants to take jobs from poor minorities.


Jackson cannot get in the middle of immigration issues, if he is going to take up both sides, black and Mexicans. He owes it to the black Americans who are being displaced by illegal Mexicans. I just knew he would make a mess of things.

I was hoping against hope that it would be different. I have seen, with my own Sixx eyes, documents pointing to his being in on the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He owes the black community, heck, the NATION more than you can even imagine. I guess that check from Fox did not bounce.

He's going to, once again, do damage to the black communities. Someone should put a nail in his coffin and permanently take him out of the limelight.

He's a phoney....looking for something to hang his hat on to either line his pockets or run for office. It's sad. Alot of people believed in him. I was suspicious...because he has been totally silent on illegal immigration and excessive legal immigration that more than any other single event in the US has kept the black community at higher unemployment and lower overall wages and high dependence on welfare and less home ownership than any other group in America.....

How the black community can stand idly by and watch illegal hispanics zooming by with jobs, brand new Ford Pick Ups (the big ones), and new homes financed with HUD and FHA loans in COMPLETE violation of HUD and FHA guidelines AND American Law....is BEYOND ME!!!

Wake Up!!! Get in the Battle....we're ALL in this Together!!

Send Jesse to a pasture and get some leaders that will WORK FOR YOU!!!

I really feel for you Sixx that you have to endure this human piece of waste in your community just as much as I'm embarrassed with the type of sellout politicans in my community. It's sad that he thinks he speaks for you and people like you. I honestly wish there were more like you from every race that speak as good as you do. At least Rev Peterson is a real leader, but of course the MSM doesn't give him one ounce of air time.

I knew this charlatan was going to try to work up some backdoor deal with Fox. He doesn't care about the Black Community or anything else other than his own wallet. He is a total scam artist and a racist too. He once called Chicago Hyme town which Hyme is a jewish slur I believe. Yet the media let him off the hook (what a shocker). He always beats the drums that blacks are being disenfranchised at the voting polls in every election long before the votes are even being counted, especially when a liberal politican is losing big.

Now he's alligning himself with one of the most vehement anti american reconquista groups in Maldef who only exist to advocate giving special rights to Mexican invaders. Yet this clown went on Lou Dobbs last night pretending to be so concerned about immigration and NAFTA/CAFTA. I didn't believe a single word of it. Talking about reinvesting in America. Since when does he care about that. He's a clown. One of the main reasons racism is alive and well is because of people like him. This guy throws the race card at every business he can shakedown in order to get profit. I only shutter to think what Jesse's reaction would have been if someone like Tom Tancredo came out and said white's do the jobs that even blacks won't do. Then Jesse's reaction would have been way different. He would have been calling for Tom Tancredo's head in about 2 microseconds. Yet Fox does it and it's almost ok. Why? Because Fox is a Mexican socialist who's views are almost in line with that of Jesse's. That and Jesse knows Fox is loaded with cash while someone like Tom Tancredo is barely raking in six figures.

Real Black leaders need to wake up and denounce this garbage for what it is and let the whole country know that they are seriously outraged with KKK Vicente and let the whole country know that Jesse Hijackson doesn't speak for anyone, but himself.

The community I live in is 38% Black American. The town is split by the railroad tracks. All the new development is on the white side and all the declining areas are in the black side...even tho there is excellent race relations and our City Council has 3 Black City Council members.

All the new jobs from all the new development, on farmland re-zoned by the City Council, are filled with illegal alien Hispanics...I assume from Mexico....on the White Side of Town.

Our black community here must be very frustrated.

We rented our facility recently to a new nice company for a temporary warehouse. Many people stopped by hoping work was available. They fill the jobs through an agency and hired all Americans but there were only about 10 jobs available. We used to run our own warehouse and then had to close when we lost a major customer then decided to rent it. The tenant's company is growing at record pace and provides several hundred jobs to North Carolinians at several different locations....all Americans.....in a very competitive business.

We don't need illegal alien labor anywhere in the USA. We don't even ned all the legal alien labor the Government is pulling in...but we'll save that issue for another day.

No one is helping Black Americans get jobs. No one. They are on their own just like Whites...we need to team up and get ALL our jobs back. The Hispanics have numerous organizations which appear to focus as we are leaning more on helping illegal Hispanics than Hispanic Americans!!

Maybe Hispanic Americans, Black Americans, White Americans, Asian Americans, and ALL Americans need to TEAM UP and take our country and it jobs back from these lunatics trying to sell us down the river by failing to guard the river....

Why should black people rise up against Jesse Jackson? He is so irrelevent--he is an outdated, tired, fading media hack. A better question is why Lou Dobb's even had this clown on in the first place because Jesse Jackson has nothing to do with the stupidity of Vicente Fox. Man I get sooooo tired of that fool getting trotted out anytime the word "black" gets printed or said in the media. Jesse Jackson is half retarded anyway--I can barely understand a word he says.
