    Perez Cruz, 23, said he was relieved that his deportation case was dropped and that he wouldn't be forced to leave the country, even though he still is not eligible for a green card.
    Okay, now that ICE knows Cruz is illegal, what's to stop them from picking him up at a later date? There is no more doubt as to his illegal status. He has been processed and finger printed - they should even know where he lives. The case was dropped on a technicality, however, his illegal aliens status did not change.
