I've never claimed Trump has solved this immigration disaster that he inherited. Actually, it's not so much that they're incompetent, but that they have to work under the constraints of law. Personally, I think our Secretary of DHS is in over her head, but our U.S. Attorney General, on the other hand, has repeatedly shown his dogged determination to do all he can within the bounds of the law to rectify the problem under his purview. It certainly would be helpful if Trump would throw him a bone once in a while instead of always criticizing him over the Russian probe issue.
