I live in LA County and this is clearly an issue. I work at a grocery store and every day I see illegals using foodstamps to pay for their goods. They also benefit from the WIC program. For every kid they have, the more WIC vouchers they recieve. That 23% only represents the undocumented aliens. What about the numbers who where born here but their parents are illegal? I am 20, and most of my Hispanic friends have illegal parents. These illegal aliens should not be able to recieve these benefits.

I agree. Illegal alien parents should not be put in control of food stamps and WIC vouchers for legal citizens (anchor children). It would be naive of us not to assume that some of the food goods purchased with stamps and vouchers are being consumed by the illegal alien parents and illegal alien siblings. This is a definite flaw in the system that needs to be addressed. IMO, no subsidy should be issued to an illegal alien, even if they are the legal guardian of a citizen. Geez, when will common sense rule the day?
