Thread: Man Accused of Raping 9-Year-Old Oregon Girl Was Deported Back to Mexico in 2001

A Mexican national who was already deported once before has been accused of the sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl in Oregon.

Police are searching for 48-year-old Santiago Martinez-Flores, whom they allege crept into a home in Clackamas County on February 26 and assaulted a child while she slept, according to the New York Daily News.

The Clackamas Sheriff’s Office reports that Martinez-Flores has been known to use the aliases “Felipe Coeto” and “Isidro Ramos Flores.”

The suspect has a criminal record in the U.S. going back to 1994. Records also show he was deported back to Mexico in 2001 after serving a two-year prison sentence.

The victim’s family told police that an intruder broke into the child’s bedroom through a window and attacked the child in a room she shares with her 5-year-old sister.

When the children screamed, the invader jumped back out the same window he used to get inside the apartment.

The girl’s description of her attacker matched that of Martinez-Flores.

Every day that all these illegal aliens are not all deported out of here, is a day our citizens are impoverished by illegal aliens, children and women are raped by illegal aliens, American small businesses lose their business to an illegal alien, taxpayers are burdened with the cost of their inability to sustain themselves, and innocent citizens are murdered by illegal aliens. So every day that this travesty continues with you all turning blind eyes defending and protecting these animals and gypsy-thieves is another day that you protected the wrong people. I don't think that's why you became police officers. But maybe now that's why you still are.

SAN YSIDRO, Calif. (KGTV) - A man wanted in Oregon was arrested trying to enter Mexico in San Ysidro this week.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said 48-year-old Santiago Flores-Martinez, an undocumented Mexican citizen, was arrested Wednesday after attempting to enter Mexico through the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

Flores-Martinez was wanted for sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl on Feb. 26, 2017, and first-degree burglary, CBP said. Both charges originated in Oregon.

As he was attempting to cross the border, the port's Anti-Terrorism Contraband Enforcement Team was conducting southbound inspections of travelers. Agents positively identified Flores-Martinez from arrest warrants in Clackamas County, Ore.

"CBP officers routinely encounter and stop dangerous fugitives, attempting to depart the United States," Pete Flores, director of field operations for CBP in San Diego, said. "Working with our law enforcement partners is not only critical but necessary in order to ensure justice is served."

Flores-Martinez was turned over to the U.S. Marshals Service and will be extradited to Oregon to face the charges.
