We need to send this out to every media outlet to expose who the Open border activists are DEFYING local governments and health officials by having a May Day march for amnesty!

To them, pressuring our Congress is more important than the health safety of our citizens!!!

This will bring on more backlash than the Mexican waving illegal aliens.

May Day organizers defy city pressures to cancel May Day march amidst fears of influenza outbreak.


Immigrants and workers, joined together with their supporters, call to go forward with march on May Day for equality, labor rights, legalization and just immigration laws.


CHICAGO – Using the fear surrounding the swine flu outbreak, anti-immigrant groups, including those in city government, call for a cancellation of the workers' and immigrants' rights demonstration. Immigrants and workers resolve to hold fast and rally with the slogan “without legalization there can be no equal labor rightsâ€

Why doesn't our government just throw their rear ends in jail.

Well if it is a day for greviance I intend to raise mine.

Why would the May Day illegal alien marchers and their supporters pay attention to anything? They do not pay attention to the rule of law, borders, immigration law, laws against identity theft, stealing the social security numbers of Americans, fraud, etc. Evidently, the May Day Marchers have no regard for who they harm.

I hope the American people get fed up with these open borders groups once and for all and demand enforcement and vote against anyone who breathes support for comprehensive immigration reform and amnesty.

It would be interesting if the marchers met the tea party citizens.

While aware of the situation in Mexico City, march organizers wish to express their demands without being singled out because of their country of origin.

Ahh,,, I would say that is a rather good reason to being singled out with your country of origin being ground zero.

Chicago canceled it's Navy Pier Cinco de Mayo event because many of the vendors were coming in from Mexico. How arrogant of Jorge Mujica of Chicago to put other people's lives in danger.

A Mexican organization in Chicago has canceled a Cinco de Mayo celebration this weekend over concerns about the swine flu.

Evelia Rodriguez is a spokeswoman for the Mexican Civic Society of Illinois. She says hundreds of performers and vendors from Mexico were set to travel to Chicago's Navy Pier for the event on Saturday and Sunday.

But she says some had trouble getting flights out of Mexico. And she says the cancellation is for healthy safety reasons.

Well, if they don't respect our immigration laws by entering our country illegally why should they respect a city request?
