    But you have to ask why do Democrats prefer votes from illegal aliens over US citizens? Because illegal aliens will support votes to open the borders, support more illegal immigration and protect the drug cartels.

    I don't believe it is as complex as you seem to think. This is about broadening their voting base to win elections, not protect or enrich the drug cartels.
