Methodist rally in Fort Worth focuses on immigration

FORT WORTH — At a rally calling for open borders and better treatment of immigrants, several hundred Methodists last week simultaneously called their congressional representatives to voice their opposition to an immigration enforcement measure.

"We pray that this afternoon we might be a strong voice in favor of those who are immigrants today who suffer in river beds and who suffer in deserts and who suffer in borders, people all over the world forced into migration for the sake of survival," said the Rev. Minerva Carcano, bishop of the Desert Southwest Annual Conference.

The group opposes the SAVE Act, which would strengthen borders and require employers to verify that their workers are in the U.S. legally. The immigration bill is pending, entangled in election-year politics.

Some of the 350 people at the Thursday rally held signs reading "All human beings are legal," "We are one family" and "Take down the wall."

It was held outside the Fort Worth Convention Center, where more than 3,000 people are attending the United Methodist Church's general conference, held every four years.

Among the actions during the 10-day conference are making the church's policies on immigration more comprehensive to include global issues and address recent government legislation.

Collect articles, notes, statements, flyers, photos. Excessive lobbying, partisan activity and illegal activity can be grounds for revocation of non-profit status. Use IRS form 13909 to file a complaint.

Fox had a news clip of this group and I sure didn't see 300 people in it. Maybe 50.

I agree Tax Exemp status needs to be revoked along with the Catholic church and any other that crosses the line of the seperation of Church and State

Are you going to do it? Unless your local IRS office has the forms it takes about two weeks to get them. I orderd ten.

I will believe what you say when you(the church) open your homes and

The USA has been a stable Country because the rule of law is the foundation of the Society. The Constitution guarantees you freedom of religion. The rule of law enforces your freedom of religion. Churches are committing criminal acts. It is a criminal felony to aid and abet illegal entrants and to assist illegal entrants to remain into the USA. Your criminal behavior and the menacing effects are an assault on the foundation of the USA.

The rule of law protects Citizens from your religion. You are subverting
the legal right of Americans to have a stable society.

We have separation of Church and State. It is fraud to declare a tax-exempt status when engaged in political actions. You tell struggling American taxpayers it is a duty to support the invading criminals. You live tax-free and protected at the expense of the struggling American taxpayer. There is extreme hypocrisy between what you preach and what you do.

You claim moral authority. Criminal and fraudulent behavior lacks morality.
Advocating and assisting the breaking of laws is neither moral nor legal. Fraudulently claiming tax-exempt status is neither moral nor legal. Destroying the foundation of an entire Society for your gain is neither moral nor legal.

Religion is a lucrative and wealthy business. Under the guise of Religion is a bureaucratic power grabbing self-serving organization. I question your loyalty to Country and Citizens.

Poverty in Mexico is no more than in urban USA. The salary of a laborer (stated in US dollars is $25 to $30 daily. You can rent a nice house for $12 to $15 a month. Food in the market cost between .75 to $1. per person, daily. University is one time $10 fee and that can be waived. They invade because of GREED and they leave jobs to come here. They abuse taxpayer social services and send the money saved back to Mexico. Are you deliberately disingenuous or totally ignorant?

These protests against enforcement of immigration laws are self-serving and arrogant. Invaders have no civil rights. There are consequences for breaking the laws. They chose to come here knowing it was illegal. The USA is not responsible for breaking up these Families. They can go home and take the Family with them. Invaders exhibit parasitic , greedy ,selfish and criminal behavior.

FYI: Americans murdered by invaders are averaging 4680 each year, 32,900 since 9/11. Americans slaughtered by drunken driving invaders last year were 5,849. Children sexually assaulted by invaders are slightly over a million. (Three Gov’t reports had a million + 1324 / million + 1523/ million+ 2210) Money wired out of this economy last year was $258,633,212,608. Invaders incarcerated in prisons and jails 759,614 averaging 8 crimes each. (Immigration violators excluded from statistic) Tax dollars taken by invaders are 61.5 billion each year. Statistics are from many Government reports/agencies.

REMOVE THIS CHURCHES TAX EXEMPT STATUS!! I don't want MY church or any other church becoming a political platform for anything or anyone!
