VA: Senate Panel Kills 10 Anti-Illegal Immigrant Bills

Senate Panel Kills 10 Anti-Illegal Immigrant Bills

    WRIC.com
    February 16, 2011
    RICHMOND, Va.

A Senate panel has killed 10 of the 12 anti-illegal immigrant bills that had advanced from the House of Delegates.

Most of the legislation died without a motion Wednesday before a Senate Courts of Justice subcommittee.

Others were defeated on 3-2 votes.

One bill would have barred undocumented students from enrolling in colleges and universities.

Another would have required Virginia to collect data on the number of students in English as a Second Language classes and those without birth certificates.

Bills also would have denied public benefits to illegal immigrants and required police to check the residency status of everyone who is arrested.

The panel approved bills to revoke the driver's licenses of those who are deported and require state contractors to check workers' residency status.

Bills also would have denied public benefits to illegal immigrants and required police to check the residency status of everyone who is arrested.
What is the reason for the laws not put into effect, with all of the problems this Country and Virginia State have with undocumented aliens?

I must write and advise of the troubles this Country is facing currently with over invasions of undocumented aliens and their criminal actions. Not allowing laws to be enforced against any criminals will surly create many problems for every State and police officer in this Country.

Thank you for the post feedback James.

find some stories on the Manasses killing, and maybe the DUI Deaths of the two teens a couple of years ago in Va Beach (the infamous blow up days later between OReilly and Rivera) and ask how they can kill these bills knowing these americans died by someone illegally in VIRGINIA

Even children of all ages are being raped and murdered every second of each day by illegal aliens. Something has to change in this Country, otherwise we Americans will face many sad moments.

Of all other States, I would have never believed such laws would go unnoticed in the State of Virginia...It is truly amazing.

This is really bad news for many Virginia citizens and our Police Officers; however, there may be better days ahead.
