I for one want PROOF that it is actually American's who are the big drug users. Where are the numbers? I believe that we would find that it's more the immigrants who are the biggest drug users in this country.

While I hate to admit it, I think he is probably closer to being right than wrong on this. We know our border security bites. If we can't stop illegals from heading North, we're probably not doing any better stopping guns from heading South. Furthermore, we know drugs are a problem here.

And this would give us the perfect opportunity to send the military to our border, under the guise of stopping weapons headed south, since we don't dare offend mexico's sensibilities. We all know what a "proud people" they are!

I'm certain calderon would complain about that as well since it would also stop his illegal invaders from heading north.

Bottom line, mexico is not our friend and the sooner our government realizes this fact, the sooner we can do what's required to stop this invasion.

There have been several reports that rebut what the Mexican government continues to claim regarding weapons headed south. Of course, the United States is the cash cow, so they must continue to insist automatic weapons are coming from our country in order to keep the financial aid flowing.

So what's Mexico's lame excuse for why THEY aren't stopping the flow of weapons into their country? The US is supposed to do all of the work?

Mexican president announces visit to Washington
    (February 23rd, 2011 @ 2:22pm)

MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexican President Felipe Calderon will meet with U.S. President Barack Obama in Washington next week amid friction over leaked diplomatic documents that criticized Mexico's anti-narcotics strategy.

Calderon accepted an invitation from Obama to discuss issues of common interest, the Mexican president's office said in a statement Wednesday. The meeting, to be held at the White House on March 3, will be their fifth since January 2009.

Calderon also will meet with U.S. Rep. John Boehner, the Ohio Republican who assumed leadership of the House of Representatives, and with U.S. business leaders.

In a newspaper interview published Tuesday, Calderon said U.S.-Mexico relations were strained after the WikiLeaks website released the cables.

Calderon specifically cited one written by U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Carlos Pascual that says there is little coordination among Mexican federal agencies assigned to battle drug gangs, including Mexico's army, navy and federal police.

The Mexican president said in the interview with El Universal that the cables show U.S. diplomats are ignorant about Mexico's security situation and are prone to distort and exaggerate "to get their bosses' attention."

Calderon said the U.S. government should help Mexico's fight against drug gangs by reducing drug use in the United States, the biggest consumer of illegal drugs in the world, and by stemming the flow of automatic rifles to the cartels. The Mexican government often makes that demand.

Calderon also said that while he has found a solid partner in Obama, "institutional cooperation ends up being notoriously insufficient" between the two countries.

The comment is surprising because U.S. and Mexican officials have constantly said the two countries have reached an unprecedented level of cooperation in the drug war. Washington backs Mexico's fight against drug cartels with millions of dollars in equipment and training.

Calderon's office said the meeting with Obama had been in the works for weeks and had nothing to do with any particular incident. Calderon and Obama have already spoken by phone about the leaked documents.

Another one? Wasn't he just a here a few months ago, lecturing us from the floor of our own Congress about how disrespectful we are as a nation because we dare attempt to stop his illegal invasion of our country?

Do us all a favor calderon and stay in mexico!
