DOBBS: And when the boss, in this case Janet Napolitano, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is flailing her arms around in obvious solidarity with the questioner there, Zoe Lofgren, the Congresswoman from California, I mean, if that isn't a chilling influence on every ICE agent, I don't know what would be. Talk about conduct unbecoming, that certainly would be it.
    WELL SAID, LOU!

WELL SAID is right! Lou is one of the very few in the MSM( in fact we can count them on one hand, Glen Beck, Lou Dobbs, and maybe Bill O'Reilly) who would even discuss this, much less be critical of Napolitano and her seemingly reluctance to do the job for which she was appointed!

NumbersUSA sent out an alert on this today, urging calls into DHS and the White House to support workplace enforcement. Numbers said pro-illegal aliens have been calling alot urging an end to enforcement actions.

    Please call.

    Enforce the Law Napolitano

It's real clear to me she is incompetent and incapable of holding this position. She can't even tell the press the same story two days in a row. She needs to be asked to resign.

I'm really pissed that she is pulling a political stunt and publicly calling the agents on the carpet over this raid.

It's very clear that Obama and Napolitano will not enforce the existing immigration laws of the United States. Obama has blocked E-Verify and the I-9's now Napolitano is going to block the raids, enforcement and demoralize the agents in the process.

    Mr. President,

I beg you to please keep up the good work and continue with worksite raids, because they are working!!

I read in the news that immediately following the raid at the Yamato Engine Specialists in Bellingham, Washington, more than 100 unemployed Americans applied for work.

Regardless of promises you may have made to special interest groups in order to get elected, you were elected by the American people to act in OUR best interests.

NO TO AMNESTY OF ANY KIND!
    NO TO COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM!

    YES TO ATTRITION THROUGH ENFORCEMENT!
YES TO MANDATORY E-VERIFY FOR ALL EMPLOYEES, AND IN ALL SECTORS, PUBLIC, PRIVATE, AND GOVERNMENT!

With much thanks for doing the job you were elected to do,

    Thanks Dixie.

BTW, here's the press release from ICE as currently posted on their website. From what I can see, ICE acted logically & professionally. What exactly does Napolitano want to "get to the bottom of" ?? It's time SHE acted professionally and not politically:

28 illegal workers at Bellingham company arrested in ICE operation

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested 28 foreign nationals this morning on administrative immigration violations at a local engine manufacturing company.

The illegal workers, who were employed at Yamato Engine Specialists in Bellingham, Wash., will be placed in deportation proceedings. The arrests are part of an ongoing ICE worksite enforcement investigation.

The illegal alien workers encountered by ICE at the plant include 25 males (22 Mexican nationals, one Salvadoran, one Guatemalan and one Honduran) and three females (all Mexican nationals). The individuals were fingerprinted, photographed and interviewed by ICE agents to determine if they had any medical, caregiver or other humanitarian issues. The interviews help ICE decide whether an individual will remain in ICE custody or be eligible for an alternative to detention based on humanitarian factors while they await a hearing before a federal immigration judge. As a result of those interviews, three of the illegal aliens identified at the plant were processed and released on humanitarian grounds. The individuals who remain in ICE custody are being held at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, Wash.

ICE initiated this investigation following the arrest of a criminal illegal alien who had previously worked at Yamato Engines. Further investigation of the company's hiring records revealed that some of the workers may have obtained employment using false Social Security numbers and other counterfeit identity documents.

"The lure of jobs in the United States continues to be one of the primary factors fueling illegal immigration," said Leigh Winchell, special agent in charge of the ICE Office of Investigations in Seattle. "ICE remains committed to investigating cases where the evidence shows employment laws are being violated."

Since its establishment in 2003, ICE has dramatically enhanced its efforts to combat the unlawful employment of illegal aliens in the United States. During fiscal year 2008, ICE made 5,173 administrative immigration arrests at worksites nationally. In addition, 1,101 criminal arrests were made in connection with worksite investigations.

To help employers build a legal workforce, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has an initiative called the ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers or IMAGE. IMAGE is designed to build cooperative relationships between the government and businesses, strengthen hiring practices, and reduce the unlawful employment of illegal aliens. The initiative also seeks to gain greater industry compliance and corporate due diligence through enhanced training and education of employers. ICE strongly encourages employers to review IMAGE program materials available at www.ice.gov.
