I beg you to please keep up the good work and continue with worksite raids, because they are working!!

I read in the news that immediately following the raid at the Yamato Engine Specialists in Bellingham, Washington, more than 100 unemployed Americans applied for work.

Regardless of promises you may have made to special interest groups, you were appointed by President Obama to act in the best interests of the American people.

Madam Secretary,
I watched your appearance in news clips on various news shows on Thursday evening and saw in disgust that you are going to start an investigation into the Raids by ICE that took place in Bellingham, Washington. You said that it took even you by surprise. I also heard you say that you were going to start your own internal investigation into why the raid took place. I know why it took place. There were illegal aliens from another country working there who were in possession of stolen or forged documents. This alone is in violation of THREE U.S. Laws. Even you should understand this. The American people demand that you enforce immigration laws that are already on the books. Those include securing the Southern Border, workplace enforcement and employer sanctions including fines and jail time.
At a time when we are constantly hearing and reading about the drug war violence in Mexico the last thing we need is this happening in the US. However, I tend to think its already here. The city that you once called home, Phoenix, Arizona, has been reported to being the SECOND ranked city behind Mexico City in Kidnappings. This is unacceptable in the US.
At a time when the US Economy is in a down fall, and there are some 15 MILLION AMERICANS who are unemployed, I demand MORE work sight raids and more enforcement that would open jobs for Americans. I find it funny to read the paper the next day online and find out that over 100 AMERICANS applied for jobs the day after the illegal’s were arrested in Bellingham, Washington.. The US is a nation of laws and we expect every law to be enforced. Not selected ones that you, President Obama or anyone else only want to enforce.. See, you work for the AMERICAN people, not special interest groups who want open borders and an end to work place enforcement. You work for the American taxpayers and your supposed to do your job. We demand that you do your job and we DEMAND that you do not second guess ICE or any kind of enforcement in the work place.

I called DHS at 1-202-282-8000; they answered right away. I gave a message of appreciation and support for the Bellingham and other ICE raids of employers hiring illegal aliens. The operator listened but could have cared less. I never could get through on the White House Comments line. Thank you, James, for the DHS numbers.

I called the above number to DHS. The person answering the phone sounded like they could care less, maybe reading a magazine. I am going to call my Senators next.
