reptile09,
You picked up on vital clue as to how a "mom" qualifies for all those government perks given to the anchor. The "dad" has a different last name for a very good reason...married couples have a much more difficult time applying for and securing social benefits than a poor single mother of two. If the social services investigators had the manpower to scrutinize every applicant the way they should, there would be a tremendous number of arrests for welfare fraud by immigrant couples living as man and wife but claiming no interdependency. This situation exists because of, and is perpetuated by near-do-well liberals and government corruption at every level.
Most social workers will readily tell you they are overwhelmed by current case loads which grow exponentially by the day, thanks to ever increasing birth rates among the illegal population and continued illegal immigration. Having different last names as a mother and father does not automatically indicate illegal status, but it is indeed a leading indicator that something might be amiss.

Does anyone know whether these people are illegal aliens? We would have more than a Mexican omelet on our faces should these happen to be legal residents.
If only ICE could be provoked to pay a friendly visit to Señor Valeriano Alvarez, perhaps under the duress of suspicion of welfare fraud. One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.
Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.
The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!
