OMAHA, Neb. - The legal status of any Nebraskan collecting benefits must be verified by state and local agencies.
All Nebraska senators who were present Friday voted in favor of the so-called "illegal immigration bill."
Employers will have to use E-Verify to determine employees' legal status when they collect benefits like unemployment and welfare. The law still stands that allows some children of illegal immigrants to pay in-state tuition rates.

What are they going to do if they find out they aren't legal then, deport them or just slap their hands?
