New Mexico’s governor plans to revoke licenses issued to illegal aliens
‘… we cannot just have a path to citizenship created when there are people in line already doing the proper things’
SANTA FE, N.M. – New Mexico’s newly elected Gov. Susana Martinez has come out swinging with a budget proposal that would cut spending and close the budget deficit without raising taxes or making cuts to classroom spending or health care for New Mexico’s most vulnerable.
Martinez also stated one of her first priorities is to revoke driver licenses issued to illegal aliens, pointing out since Arizona passed SB 1070, illegal aliens have been pouring in to New Mexico, which does not require proof of citizenship to obtain licenses.
Former Gov. Bill Richardson, an open borders advocate, further exacerbated the problem by banning Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) clerks from asking applicants if they were legally present.
New Mexico and a smattering of a few other states, which allow illegal aliens to obtain driver licenses, have become Meccas for human smugglers and those in the fraudulent ID business.
Following the passage of Arizona’s SB 1070, New Mexico’s DMV issued 10,257 licenses to foreign born (both legal and illegal) applicants during the first six months of 2010, a 60 percent increase, compared to 13,481 issued during all of 2009 to foreign born applicants. The number of licenses issued to citizens during that same period of time remained flat.
Martinez, who also opposes amnesty, stated, “[T]here has to be another way of dealing with the issue … we cannot just have a path to citizenship created when there are people in line already doing the proper things,â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Illinois judges let illegals walk out of court with smiles on there faces after having multiple driving citations. That would send any american to prison. They get DUIs and keep driving drunk because judge tunsgate gives them special treatment in kankakee co. IL. She even verbaly states that they are illegal after convictions and they walk right out the door. Im not perfect Ive had a dui and thank god nobody got hurt. After I paid my fines and completed my dui edu. I went for my last court day and she basicly attacked me with threats and treated me like a criminal. That has been my only conviction. An illegal alien ran over this kid on a riding lawnmower and killed him. He was drunk and got arrested, but they let him go somehow and he ran to mexico. None of the other illegals in town would turn him in. He came back and got caught commiting another crime. Do you think judge tunsgate sent him to prison, NOPE! He`s still lose in kankakee co. This shit is racism against americans.

Finally a state governor who unlike her previous illegal alien hugging predecessor Richards who gave licenses to illegal aliens including possible terrorists allowing them to board aircraft, buy guns, work in sensitive and secure areas as aircraft cleaners, nuclear power plants and obtain other benefits during a so called war on terror, is willing to do the job New Mexicans elected her to do....Thank god....

Same thing in N.J. Damn judge give an American hell for driving on a suspended license. An illegal gets caught with NO license and the judge very nicely tells him pay your fine and dont do it again. I saw this with my own eyes, could not believe it, I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone.

BTW the Center for Immigration Studies has a new article states being required to comply with the federal secure driver's license law known as the REAL ID Act.
