Border agents seize 700 pounds of pot

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Border Patrol agents in New Mexico have seized hundreds of pounds of marijuana this week.

Agents working a checkpoint along Interstate 25 north of Las Cruces found 444 pounds of marijuana in three separate traffic stops Tuesday.

In two of the stops, agents found the drugs in the vehicles’ gas tanks and the third involved a hidden compartment in the rear of a pickup truck.

Agents from Lordsburg seized 381 pounds of marijuana while conducting a routine patrol in the desert south of Animas on Tuesday.

They followed footprints north from the border and found five burlap backpacks filled with drugs.

I think we should take all of these drugs way down south of the border and sell it back to the drug lords ( at a reduced rate we want to be fair you know)
Come on what are they doing with this stuff, probably charging us to store it somewhere, why not make some money back for all our trouble.
